From won deal to project.
Your agent creates tasks in ClickUp, keeps them current and reports where things stand: onboarding after the close, campaign planning, RevOps tickets.
- Coverage: nearly complete
- 44 tools · 22 of them make changes
Read and change.
Your agent works with exactly the permissions of the connected account. Read tools are quick to enable. Tools that change data stay off until you explicitly turn them on.
What your agent can read
- The structure of spaces, folders and lists in one step.
- Tasks across the whole workspace, filtered by list, status, assignees, tags and due date.
- Comments, checklists, custom fields, time in status and time entries.
- Goals with key results, templates, Docs and chat messages.
What your agent can change
- Create tasks, also from templates and as subtasks, and update them.
- Set custom fields, tags, dependencies and checklists.
- Comment, log time, record goal progress.
- Write Docs and send chat messages. These are real messages.
Only once you enable it, per agent and per tool. If you want, a person also approves each action before it runs.
How teams use ClickUp.
Marketing, sales and RevOps run these as recurring routines or on request.
- 01
Onboarding starts by itself
A deal is won- Find won deals in the CRM
- Create an onboarding task with a checklist in the right list
- Put contacts and open points in the description
ResultNo won deal waits for someone to set up the project by hand.
- 02
Project status on Friday
Every Friday- Count open, overdue and done tasks per list
- Find blocked tasks and long waits
- Write a short report
ResultLeadership sees the risks before a customer asks.
- 03
RevOps tickets from problems
The agent finds data errors in the CRM- Collect the errors
- Create a ticket with examples in the RevOps list
- Assign the owner
ResultData problems land with the team as a task, not in a chat thread.
Built-in safeguards
- Changing webhooks, members, guests and sharing needs admin access.
- Deleting and archiving tasks count as deleting and need approval.
- If you want, changes only run after a person approves them, for example the team lead: in the Data Hub, in Slack or via a link. On top of that, each agent has daily and hourly limits.
- Guardrails for every agent: deletes and changes to more than 10 records need approval by default, an emergency brake kicks in on a run of deletes, and you can set your own rules per tool.
- Each connection has an access level: Read, Write or Admin. Where the vendor allows it, the Data Hub only requests the permissions for that level.
- Credentials are stored encrypted in the Data Hub, and the agent never sees them. Every call is logged.
What it can't do
- ClickUp limits requests per minute depending on the plan (100 to 10,000).
- A token sees all workspaces of its user. At login, pick only this business unit's workspaces.
What's possible here depends on what ClickUp offers through its API. We make available what the API allows, as ready-made tools or through the generic API request to ClickUp, and we check new API versions regularly.
