Ask your Salesforce in plain language.

The agent queries leads, contacts, accounts, opportunities and custom objects, runs reports and maintains records, up to 200 at a time. The connected Salesforce user's permissions apply, plus the Data Hub's guardrails.

  • Coverage: nearly complete

What it does

Read and change.

Your agent works with exactly the permissions of the connected account. Read tools are quick to enable. Tools that change data stay off until you explicitly turn them on.

What your agent can read

  • Every object in the Salesforce org with its fields, picklists, required fields, relationships and record types.
  • SOQL queries with pagination and aggregates, full-text search across all objects, and single records.
  • Reports, including with extra filters and a custom date range, plus dashboards.
  • The org's API limits.

What your agent can change

  • Create and update records, up to 200 at a time.
  • Upsert by external ID, for example when importing from other tools.
  • Delete records. They stay in the Salesforce recycle bin for up to 15 days.

Only once you enable it, per agent and per tool. If you want, a person also approves each action before it runs.

Use cases

How teams use Salesforce.

Marketing, sales and RevOps run these as recurring routines or on request.

  1. 01

    Find opportunities by asking

“Which opportunities over €50,000 close this month?”
    1. Turn the question into a SOQL query
    2. Return the result with account and owner

ResultThe list is ready without anyone building a report.

  2. 02

    Bring in leads from campaigns

After a webinar or an outbound wave
    1. Match attendees by external ID
    2. Create new leads, update existing ones
    3. Create tasks for the owners

ResultNo duplicates are created, and sales knows whom to call.

  3. 03

    CRM hygiene

    Every month
    1. Find opportunities with no next step or an old close date
    2. Notify the owners or update fields in bulk
    3. Wait for approval when more than ten records are affected

ResultA forecast sales can rely on.

  4. 04

    Reports for the weekly

    On Mondays
    1. Run saved reports with a date range
    2. Describe what changed since last week
    3. Check the figures with the fact check

ResultA pipeline update with verified numbers.

Built-in safeguards

  • What the agent sees and changes follows the connected user's permissions: profile, permission sets, sharing and field security.
  • At “Read” level, the Data Hub only offers the read tools.
  • Every result tells the agent what the fields mean: Amount isn't weighted, Salesforce calculates ExpectedRevenue from Amount and Probability, and amounts are in the record's currency.
  • Users, profiles, permissions, metadata, Flows and Apex need the Admin access level, also inside batch requests.
  • If you want, changes only run after a person approves them, for example the team lead: in the Data Hub, in Slack or via a link. On top of that, each agent has daily and hourly limits.
  • Guardrails for every agent: deletes and changes to more than 10 records need approval by default, an emergency brake kicks in on a run of deletes, and you can set your own rules per tool.
  • Each connection has an access level: Read, Write or Admin. Where the vendor allows it, the Data Hub only requests the permissions for that level.
  • Credentials are stored encrypted in the Data Hub, and the agent never sees them. Every call is logged.

What it can't do

  • The REST API is available from Enterprise Edition, on Professional only with the API add-on. Every call counts against the org's daily limit.
  • Signing in with Salesforce only works in your org if the Data Hub's app is installed there. An integration user works without waiting: you create your own external client app and enter the consumer key and secret, sandboxes included.
  • Undo isn't available for Salesforce yet. The “ad spend against pipeline” reports only use HubSpot so far.
  • The hub doesn't pass through Salesforce's own MCP servers. They need their own app in every Salesforce org, and their record tools largely match the hub's.

What's possible here depends on what Salesforce offers through its API. We make available what the API allows, as ready-made tools or through the generic API request to Salesforce, and we check new API versions regularly.
