Intent · Website visitors

See which companies are looking right now.

SalesViewer identifies the companies behind visits to your website. Your agent turns that into lists for sales: who came, how often, which pages they read, and whether there's already a deal.

  • Coverage: complete
  • 5 tools · 1 of them make changes
What it does

Read and change.

Your agent works with exactly the permissions of the connected account. Read tools are quick to enable. Tools that change data stay off until you explicitly turn them on.

What your agent can read

  • Visiting companies in a period with sessions, page views, time on site, first and last visit.
  • Each company's most-read pages, triggered interests and the source of the visit.
  • Filters by industry, country, interest or page, for example only companies that viewed the pricing page. You can leave out customers and competitors.
  • One company's visit history, page by page, with address and industry.
  • An overview without company names by interest, industry, country, source and page, useful for weekly reports.

What your agent can change

Nothing. SalesViewer's API only offers reading. Flags, interests and notifications are managed in SalesViewer.

    Use cases

    How teams use SalesViewer.

Marketing, sales and RevOps run these as recurring routines or on request.

    1. 01

      Hot accounts on Monday

      Every Monday at 8 am
      1. Get companies with several visits or visits to the pricing page
      2. Match them with the CRM: customer, open deal, owner
      3. A list for sales with a suggested next step

ResultSales starts the week with the companies that are looking at your company right now.

    2. 02

      Prepared before the call

Before a first call or a demo
      1. Read the company's visit history for the last 90 days
      2. Sum up the topics and pages they read
      3. Draw questions for the call from it

ResultYou know beforehand whether they read pricing, integrations or case studies.

    3. 03

      Which content draws target accounts?

      Once a month
      1. Break visits down by industry, interest and page
      2. Compare with the previous month
      3. Name the pages with the most target-account visits

ResultMarketing sees which pages and topics attract the right companies.

    Built-in safeguards

    • SalesViewer identifies companies, not people, so the agent never names a person as the visitor.
    • The key can only read. In the GTM Hub, only admins and the teams an admin allows see company lists.
    • If you want, changes only run after a person approves them, for example the team lead: in the Data Hub, in Slack or via a link. On top of that, each agent has daily and hourly limits.
    • Guardrails for every agent: deletes and changes to more than 10 records need approval by default, an emergency brake kicks in on a run of deletes, and you can set your own rules per tool.
    • Each connection has an access level: Read, Write or Admin. Where the vendor allows it, the Data Hub only requests the permissions for that level.
    • Credentials are stored encrypted in the Data Hub, and the agent never sees them. Every call is logged.

    What it can't do

    • An overview reads up to 3,000 sessions. If there are more, the agent says so and narrows the period.
    • The API isn't part of every SalesViewer licence; SalesViewer support enables it.

What's possible here depends on what SalesViewer offers through its API. We make available what the API allows, as ready-made tools or through the generic API request to SalesViewer, and we check new API versions regularly.
