Advertising · Social ads

How much pipeline Facebook and Instagram bring in.

The agent reads spend, reach and cost per result across all campaigns, ad sets and ads, including archived ones. It pauses what isn't working, changes budgets and creates new campaigns, which start out paused.

What it does

Read and change.

Your agent works with exactly the permissions of the connected account. Read tools are quick to enable. Tools that change data stay off until you explicitly turn them on.

What your agent can read

  • Ad accounts with currency and time zone, campaigns, ad sets with targeting and bidding, ads with their creative.
  • Spend, reach, frequency, clicks, CTR, CPC, CPM and conversions with cost per result, at every level. Archived and deleted objects are included.
  • Breakdowns per day and by age, gender, country or placement, with the attribution setting from Ads Manager or a fixed window.
  • Custom and lookalike audiences, plus targeting search for interests, job titles, employers and locations.

What your agent can change

  • Activate, pause or archive campaigns, ad sets and ads.
  • Change daily and lifetime budgets.
  • Create campaigns, paused by default.
  • Create new ad sets and ads through the generic API request or the Meta Ads MCP.

Only once you enable it, per agent and per tool. If you want, a person also approves each action before it runs.

Use cases

How teams use Meta Ads.

Marketing, sales and RevOps run these as recurring routines or on request.

  1. 01

What does a deal really cost?

    Every week
    1. Get cost per result per campaign
    2. Link it to deals and revenue in HubSpot
    3. Separate campaigns that bring pipeline from those that don't

ResultBudget goes to the campaigns that bring pipeline, even if those leads cost more.

  2. 02

    Catch ad fatigue early

When cost per result goes up
    1. Compare frequency and CTR per ad set over time
    2. Find audiences that are worn out
    3. Pause the ad set or shift budget

ResultYou spot fatigue before it eats the budget.

  3. 03

    Stop expensive campaigns

“Pause everything that was over €80 per lead this week”
    1. Read cost per lead per campaign for the week
    2. List the campaigns affected
    3. Pause them, after approval if that's how you set it up

ResultThe expensive campaigns are paused, and every step is in the log.

  4. 04

    Audience check

    Before a new campaign
    1. Break results down by age, gender, country and placement
    2. Search for matching interests and job titles
    3. Create the new campaign, paused

ResultA campaign draft built on your past results.

Built-in safeguards

  • At “Read” level, the Data Hub only requests read permissions from Meta.
  • The connection can be limited to specific ad accounts. The hub then refuses requests across all accounts at once.
  • You can undo status changes in the activity log. Archiving, on the other hand, is final at Meta.
  • If you want, changes only run after a person approves them, for example the team lead: in the Data Hub, in Slack or via a link. On top of that, each agent has daily and hourly limits.
  • Guardrails for every agent: deletes and changes to more than 10 records need approval by default, an emergency brake kicks in on a run of deletes, and you can set your own rules per tool.
  • Each connection has an access level: Read, Write or Admin. Where the vendor allows it, the Data Hub only requests the permissions for that level.
  • Credentials are stored encrypted in the Data Hub, and the agent never sees them. Every call is logged.

What it can't do

  • Signing in with Facebook through the Data Hub's app only works for your ad accounts once Meta has approved the app (app review). Until then, you connect the accounts with a system user token from your own Meta business.
  • A Facebook login lasts about 60 days, and the hub warns you in advance. A system user token from your Meta business account doesn't expire.
  • Meta allows about four budget changes per ad set and hour. Billing, business settings and creating the pixel are only available in Meta.

What's possible here depends on what Meta Ads offers through its API. We make available what the API allows, as ready-made tools or through the generic API request to Meta Ads, and we check new API versions regularly.
