Any GA4 report, on request.

Your agent can pull any report GA4 offers. If you enable it, the agent also maintains the measurement setup: key events, custom dimensions, audiences and annotations. Nobody has to share logins or build exports.

What it does

Read and change.

Your agent works with exactly the permissions of the connected account. Read tools are quick to enable. Tools that change data stay off until you explicitly turn them on.

What your agent can read

  • Any combination of dimensions and metrics (channels, pages, events, campaigns, devices, countries), filtered and for any date range.
  • Realtime data for the last 30 minutes.
  • Funnel reports with completion and drop-off rates for each step.
  • Conversions by attribution model, including ad spend and ROAS.
  • The full configuration: properties, data streams, key events, custom dimensions and metrics, linked Google Ads accounts.
  • Audiences with a list of their current members.
  • Which dimensions and metrics exist in this specific property. That way the agent doesn't have to guess.

What your agent can change

  • Mark events as key events (conversions).
  • Create or archive custom dimensions and metrics.
  • Create remarketing audiences.
  • Add annotations like “Relaunch” or “Campaign launch”. They show up in every GA4 report.

Only once you enable it, per agent and per tool. If you want, a person also approves each action before it runs.

Use cases

How teams use Google Analytics 4.

Marketing, sales and RevOps run these as recurring routines or on request.

  1. 01

Weekly report before your team meeting

    Every Monday at 7 a.m.
    1. Pull sessions, leads and revenue by channel
    2. Compare with last week and last year
    3. Explain the biggest changes

ResultA short summary with numbers and hypotheses is waiting before the weekly meeting starts.

  2. 02

Find the leak in your funnel

    When the lead rate drops
    1. Analyze the funnel landing page → form → thank-you page
    2. Break it down by device and channel
    3. Name the step with the biggest drop-off

ResultYou know at which step leads drop off, on which devices and from which channels.

  3. 03

    Document campaign launches

    When a campaign goes live
    1. Add a “Campaign launch” annotation
    2. Check whether the new form event counts as a key event
    3. Add any missing key events

ResultThe conversion gets counted, and anyone looking at the report later can see why the line jumped.

  4. 04

    Remarketing audience on request

“Everyone who visited the pricing page in the last 30 days”
    1. Create an audience with the right conditions
    2. Check the member count after a few days

ResultThe audience is ready. If a Google Ads account is linked, you can use it there too.

Built-in safeguards

  • The agent sees the same accounts and properties as the connected Google account. Allowed accounts narrow that down further.
  • Changes to the measurement setup are separate tools that you enable for each agent individually.
  • If you want, changes only run after a person approves them, for example the team lead: in the Data Hub, in Slack or via a link. On top of that, each agent has daily and hourly limits.
  • Guardrails for every agent: deletes and changes to more than 10 records need approval by default, an emergency brake kicks in on a run of deletes, and you can set your own rules per tool.
  • Each connection has an access level: Read, Write or Admin. Where the vendor allows it, the Data Hub only requests the permissions for that level.
  • Credentials are stored encrypted in the Data Hub, and the agent never sees them. Every call is logged.

What it can't do

  • Explorations (path, segment overlap and user explorer), saved segments and the report library only exist in the GA4 interface. Google offers no API for them.
  • The same goes for insights, alerts and internal traffic filters.
  • Funnel and conversion reports are still in alpha. Google can change them on short notice and doesn't enable the conversions report for every property.

What's possible here depends on what Google Analytics 4 offers through its API. We make available what the API allows, as ready-made tools or through the generic API request to Google Analytics 4, and we check new API versions regularly.
